Timothy P. Schilling is a Catholic, American husband and father of two. He studied English at Princeton and theology in Leuven, Belgium, and subsequently earned a doctorate in practical theology at the Catholic Theological University of Utrecht, the Netherlands. Since 2003 he has served on the staff of the Center for Parish Spirituality, a Dutch national pastoral resource center. His writings have appeared in Commonweal, America, First Things, The Tablet, Image, Communio, The American Fly Fisher, The Pike Place Market News, and other publications. He lives in Utrecht. He is the author of The Writings of Norman Maclean: Seeking Truth amid Tragedy (University of Nevada Press, 2024) and Lonesome Road: A Memoir of Faith (Wipf and Stock, 2024).
