Deciduous
A thousand leaves are left.
Three are falling now.
My boy, my boy
After all these years,
that you still don’t understand these things!
Today’s lesson
He who waits for what
God does not give
fidgets
Why I never get anywhere
I went looking for
the shoot that wanted watering
but the tiller has sunk
it within me
River of tears
God’s gut channels the grief of the world
We weep ourselves away
Two women in a forest
Our Lady of Guadalupe went north to seek my sister.
Her kindness led her, it was all she needed to share.
I find myself tipping up the flaps of boxes
What am I looking for?
Psalm 151
Lord, you are kindness in every color and flavor!
The wood of outrageous dumbos
One elbows one’s way through the
crowd of one’s other selves
hoping that this one who one is
truly is the one who one is
